Working with found maps, vintage paper, fabric, and mixed media, Vicky creates layered artworks that combine painting, drawing, and assemblage into something entirely unique. Each piece tells a story through its materials as much as its imagery — the map beneath a painted deer is not just a background, it’s a place, a memory, a landscape.

The London Travel Card Map

The centrepiece of Vicky’s collage work — and one of her most celebrated pieces.

Created from 5,000 used London travel cards, this extraordinary large-scale collage map of London has been on permanent display at Battersea Power Station Museum, where prints sell at approximately one per day. Made in collaboration with Railway200 — Transport for London’s celebration of 200 years of UK rail travel — the original collage is now in discussions for display at the Tate. A truly iconic piece of London art, combining history, travel, and extraordinary craft.
