Collection: Eel Pie Island

Discover the mystery, music and creative history of Eel Pie Island through Vicky Steane’s atmospheric Bridge Collection.

Originally created using mixed media and gold leaf on canvas, the artwork captures the island’s shifting light, deep shadows and richly layered past. The collection was inspired by Vicky’s years living aboard a restored Thames cruiser and working from The Arc, her dry-docked wooden boat studio on Eel Pie Island.

The original paintings have now sold, but the design lives on across a new range of wearable art, homeware and accessories.
